Description
The most marvelous object of classical country dapperness. Our Harris Tweed journal is quarter-bound in genuine Harris Tweed – from wool produced, dyed, spun and hand woven in the Outer Hebrides. A beautiful object, satisfyingly tactile and delicious to write in. The perfect gift for the discerning Chap (or Lady) who doesn’t quite have everything!
400 hand-stitched, un-lined pages of 100gsm, FSC ivory wove paper. Hard bound in a traditional hollow-back style with a quarter tweed cover. The front features a Red Deer stag; a print taken from an exclusive and original pen and ink drawing by Mandy Flockton. End-papers are lightly textured with a high cotton rag content. The cover is sealed and hand-waxed with a mixture of carnauba and beeswax for durability.
Each book is finished with antique brass, metal corner protectors, a ribbon bookmarker, decorative headbands and includes a lined guide-sheet and blotter.
Signed and authenticated as entirely handmade, from cover to cover, in Devon, England.
